Healthy Mothers, Healthy Beginnings

Supporting Women Living with HIV Through Pregnancy Planning, Maternal Health Education & Child Wellbeing

Developing Priority Focus Area: These educational and community-led support priorities are currently undergoing developmental planning.

Every Mother Deserves Hope. Every Child Deserves a Healthy Beginning.

For many women living with HIV, the dream of motherhood is accompanied by questions: Can I have a healthy pregnancy? Will my baby acquire HIV? How can I protect my own health? Where can I find reliable advice?

Kar Geno believes women living with HIV have the same right to plan families and receive respectful maternal healthcare as other women. With effective HIV treatment and appropriate clinical care, the risk of HIV transmission from mother to child can be reduced dramatically .

Note on Institutional Scope: Kar Geno focuses on community health mobilization, treatment literacy, and family support tracking. Personalized clinical advice, diagnostic evaluations, and medical management must always be obtained directly from qualified clinical professionals and authorized maternal health networks.

Before Pregnancy: Informed Planning

We seek to promote awareness of preconception counselling, pregnancy intentions, antiretroviral treatment, viral-load monitoring and the value of discussing individual health circumstances with qualified clinicians. Women deserve support whether they choose pregnancy, delay it or do not wish to have children.
